We also have select homes available to rent to qualified military retiree, DOD civilian employee and general public applicants. Our rental homes in Kittery are available in two, three, four, and five-bedroom floor plans featuring updated finishes, fully-equipped kitchens, ample closets and storage and water views. NSY Portsmouth Homes residents enjoy the very walkable, pet-friendly community’s many amenities, including playgrounds, athletic courts and picnic areas as well as easy access to all of the NSY Portsmouth facilities.

As temperatures begin to drop, now is a great time to prepare your home for colder weather! A few simple steps can help keep your home comfortable, protect your plumbing, and ensure your heating system operates efficiently throughout the season.

🏠 Winter Weather & HVAC Tips:

🌡️ Check Your Thermostat: Switch your thermostat to heating mode and test your system before colder temperatures arrive.

🌬️ Keep Vents Clear: Make sure furniture, rugs, and other belongings are not blocking heating vents or air returns.

🚰 Protect Your Pipes: During freezing temperatures, follow community guidance for protecting plumbing, including allowing faucets to drip when instructed.

🚪 Keep Cold Air Out: Close windows and exterior doors securely to help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature.

🔧 Report Maintenance Concerns: If your heating system is not working properly or you notice a potential maintenance issue, contact your community maintenance team.
