💜 OSCEOLA COUNTY COMMISSIONER VIVIANA JANER PRESENTS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH PROCLAMATION TO HELP NOW OF OSCEOLA

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — During today's Osceola County Board of County Commissioners meeting, District 2 Commissioner Viviana Janer presented a proclamation recognizing October 2026 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Osceola County, highlighting the importance of supporting survivors, raising awareness, and working together to end domestic violence in our community.

The proclamation was presented to Help Now of Osceola, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safety, support, advocacy, and critical resources to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month serves as an important reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes, relationships, and communities. It is also an opportunity to recognize the courage of survivors and the dedicated professionals and advocates who work every day to help individuals and families rebuild their lives.

Through its emergency shelter, advocacy programs, and supportive services, Help Now of Osceola continues to make a meaningful difference for those facing domestic violence throughout Osceola County.

💜 Positively Osceola joins Commissioner Viviana Janer and the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners in recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month and thanking Help Now of Osceola for its ongoing commitment to protecting survivors, restoring hope, and strengthening our community.
