Join us tomorrow May 15th for the Osceola County Bar Association’s May Monthly Luncheon! It will be from 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM and will take place in the Jury Selection Room in the Osceola County Courthouse.

This month, we’re serving up Big John’s, so come hungry and ready for a great conversation. Our featured presentation will be a special “Get to Know the New Osceola County Circuit Judges” panel, an informal Q&A session with:

• Judge Kerestes
• Judge McCarthy
• Judge Wooten

This is a great opportunity to hear directly from our newest circuit judges, learn more about their backgrounds, and engage with them in a relaxed, conversational setting.

Thank you to Kim Lorenz for speaking at the April Osceola County Bar Association Monthly Luncheon!

Kim delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on her work as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, offering valuable perspective on effective dispute resolution and the mediation process. Her experience representing both sides of the aisle provided attendees with a well-rounded understanding of the practical and strategic considerations involved in mediation.

Join the Osceola County Bar Association for our April Monthly Luncheon Tomorrow!

As our April speaker we are pleased to welcome Kim Lorenz, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator with more than 20 years of litigation experience. Ms. Lorenz brings a well-rounded background, having spent 15 years as an insurance defense attorney and handling a wide range of civil matters, including personal injury, commercial litigation, and probate disputes.
Her experience trying the same types of cases she now mediates provides valuable insight into the perspectives of both plaintiffs and defendants, allowing her to effectively guide parties toward resolution.

Ms. Lorenz is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a “Double Gator,” and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2010.

Join us for the Osceola County Bar Association’s March Luncheon this Friday 3/27!

We are honored to welcome Roger Handberg as our featured speaker! He is a former United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Handberg brings more than two decades of federal prosecutorial and litigation experience, including leadership over one of the nation’s busiest federal jurisdictions in the country.

Mr. Handberg will present on elder fraud, focusing on identifying common schemes targeting older adults and providing practical strategies to help protect family members, clients, and the community from financial exploitation.

We will be serving Panda Express!

She shared insight into how the project is helping diversify the local economy by attracting high-tech industries and research institutions, while creating opportunities for innovation and long-term economic development.

Join us for the Osceola County Bar Association Luncheon on Friday, February 27th!

We are excited to welcome Amanda Clavijo, Assistant County Manager for Osceola County, as our featured speaker.

Amanda plays a key leadership role in the development of NeoCity, Osceola County’s 500-acre technology and innovation campus. She supports the County Manager on all aspects of the project, including overseeing major development initiatives, managing real estate and grants, leading key development agreements, supporting economic development efforts, and serving in multiple governance and advisory roles connected to NeoCity’s growth.

NeoCity was launched in 2014 and was created to diversify Osceola County’s economy beyond tourism and agriculture by attracting high-tech industries and research institutions. Located just south of Orlando, the campus connects to major universities and sits near a unique Spaceport/Seaport/Airport/Rail hub.
