Big news for Washington home sellers!
Beginning September 4, NWMLS is introducing a new optional listing status called First Look, the PNW version of “Coming Soon”, giving sellers a new way to begin marketing a property before it moves to Active.

For sellers, that can mean more flexibility while a home is still being prepared for market, with options around showings, offers, and how broadly the property is marketed during the First Look period.

This is a meaningful change for our market, and I’ll be sharing more about how First Look works and when it may make sense to use it.

Pricing has to reflect current conditions. Presentation has to be intentional. And every detail should support the value buyers are being asked to see.
