Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s show.

Although we were hoping to host the show rain or shine, the safety of our participants, guests and your prized vehicles are a top priority.

We appreciate everyone who has registered, supported, and planned to attend. Please know, all those who have pre-registered will be issued a refund.

All raffle funds raised to date will be donated to the beneficiary, Olivia Maragoudakis. We plan to have Olivia as next year’s beneficiary due to this year’s cancellation. We are keeping the raffle for the side-by-side open until next Friday, at which time the winner will be announced online.

Reverend Horton Heat , The Sci-Fliess , and Messer Chups will still be performing this Sunday September 20th from 12PM-6PM at Keegan Ales at 20 Saint James Street, Kingston, NY.

Every year is a new chance to help someone in our community in need. This year's Uptown Car Show, 100% of proceeds will be going to Olivia

Meet eight-year-old Olivia Grace Maragoudakis, this year's beneficiary.

Olivia is a remarkable young girl whose strength and determination inspire everyone she meets. Born prematurely with several complex medical conditions, Olivia has overcome countless challenges and continues to receive care for several complex medical conditions, including Sacral Agenesis, a rare congenital condition that affects the development of her lower spine and legs.

Olivia relies on a wheelchair for mobility, and after more than a year of battling with insurance, her family is working to obtain an accessible vehicle to safely transport her power wheelchair. Funds raised through this year's Uptown Car Show will help ease the financial burden of these on-going and life-changing needs, giving Olivia greater independence and allowing her family to focus on what matters most—helping her continue to thrive.

On Friday after a week long trial, an Ulster County Supreme Court jury reached a verdict in favor of a Kingston woman, resulting in her being awarded $2,000,000.00.

The award was to compensate her for injuries she suffered when she was struck by a commercial pickup truck that was pulling out of a driveway as she was walking on the shoulder of the road. As a result of the collision the Plaintiff sustained injuries to her left leg which required surgery.

Prior to trial, Selective Insurance, the insurance company for the commercial vehicle, offered $300,000 to settle, claiming that the collision was mostly the fault of the Plaintiff.

The offer was rejected, the trial proceeded and throughout the trial, Defense continued to make the argument that the Plaintiff was at fault for being hit by the truck.

After a 5 day trial and nearly 4 hours of deliberations, the jury returned a unanimous verdict awarding the Plaintiff $2,000,000.00, over 6X more than Defendant’s settlement offer. Defense counsel who tried the case for Selective Insurance Company were from offices in Albany and Westchester New York.
