Ageless

I AM A RADIANT EXPRESSION OF MY AGELESS, ETERNAL SELF.
I am a perfect expression of my true spiritual nature. Every cell in my body is radiant with the light and love inherent in my divine essence.

I expend time and energy needlessly when I fret about changes that are an inevitable part of the aging process. Tell me, what advice would you give a child who came to you asking what their favorite color should be?

To follow their heart? That no color is right or wrong? That if they wanted to, they could always change their mind later, any number of times? That their happiness with their choice is all that matters? Not to give it too much importance? That they don't have to decide at all? That you approve no matter what they choose?

Now, what if they protested because they had heard from friends that there was a special color assigned to them at birth; their soul-color. They felt that a numerology reading might shed some light on their confusion. They wanted confirmation of their choices through a zodiac chart, tea leaves, and a Ouija board. And they asked if hiring a coach, therapist, or guru would be a good idea.

Yep, this is what I hear every day, just not so much for colors...

Worthy
I AM WORTHY OF GOD’S LOVE.
There is much I have in my life today: food, shelter, and the ability to love and to develop strong relationships. I do not need to prove I am worthy—I accept these blessings with gratitude.

God’s love is always mine, for I am a child of the Divine. I am made in the image of God, reflecting the qualities of God: love, joy, kindness, compassion, creativity, and more.

If I feel unworthy, it is because of my own error thinking. I have judged myself with lesser expectations or believed in the judgment of another. I am, however, perfect and whole, created by Divine Intelligence, so why would I judge myself otherwise? I am an integral part of Spirit, making a difference in ways I may never fully realize. I VIEW EVERY MOMENT AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION.

Rather than considering change as a fear of the unknown, I consider it an opportunity to transform the way that I think, feel, and act. I shift into new ways of being by shifting my perceptions, attitudes, and beliefs about myself and my world.

Foundations
I BUILD MY LIFE ON THE FIRM FOUNDATION OF PRAYER.
The foundation for a house provides a solid base for construction to build upon. When completed, the house provides shelter and security for its inhabitants.

Spirit within is the foundation for my life and my being. Each moment I spend connecting with God in quiet times of prayer creates another layer of my spiritual character. I express the spirit of God through me and build my house—my spiritual character—with unshakable faith and unlimited joy.

Divine Order
I AM AT PEACE, FOR DIVINE ORDER IS ACTIVE IN MY LIFE.
In Paul’s letter to the Romans, I find this reminder: All things work together for good. It does not say some things work together for good on occasion. Rather, all things. Every day, in every way, things are getting better and better because divine order is active in my life.

Yet there may be times when life is a bit chaotic. Whenever this happens, I affirm: divine order. I remember that order is always happening in my life, even if I don’t see it unfolding.

I don’t have to understand every step of the way, but instead trust in God. My way will be clear in the right time and in the right way. Divine order is my security, always present because wherever I am, God is.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.—Romans 8:28 FROM DAILY WORD

I open myself to Divine Order.

Disorder and confusion are symptoms of the need to get back in tune with God. Divine Order is always at work. When I am in tune with it, I find the crooked places become straight and the rough places smooth. The things that have seemed disorganized and confused fall into place, and order pervades.

Rather than struggle to straighten out any confusion that appears, I first bring my thought and feelings under control and gain inner peace and serenity that comes only from God. Energized
I AM ENERGIZED BY PLAY AND CREATIVITY.
As I watch children at play, I may admire their energy—and wonder how or when I can join them. I recall times of play and imagination in my youth. I realize my energy isn’t gone—I’ve just lost touch with it!

I set aside the busyness and concerns of my day. For a moment, even if only in my mind, I am at play. The explorer, the painter, the dancer who lives in my dreams brings a smile to my face. An imaginary kite soars as I run through fields of wild flowers. The blue of the sky is so vivid and the sun so bright. I feel divine energy flowing through me.

I plan for times of play and creativity, knowing it energizes my thoughts and my body. Play is a priority!

12 rockin principles to live by


1) What matters in life is finding and maintaining a connection with the most brilliant version of yourself—beyond your physical body and who you know yourself to be. Developing a strong connection with the divine is essential for trusting your own knowing and following your intuition, which will always show you the right path.

2) The question of whether you are worthy is irrelevant because your worth is already established simply by your presence here on earth. When you stop taking things personally and allow your bright light to shine, you cannot help but become magnetic to the right people and opportunities.

3) What people think of you is not nearly as important as how you feel about yourself. Everyone will have a different opinion of you, which in no way reflect the perfection that you are. Never dim your light to please others. Have the courage to follow your truth. Live authentically and honor yourself.

4) Pay close attention to how you feel without judgment. Your emotions communicate important messages to you– trust and follow them. Suppressing emotions will not only make you miserable, the dense energy will stay in your body, causing diseases.

5) Vulnerability is one of the most powerful states of being. It shows a willingness to be open, risk hurt, yet confident that you will be okay no matter what.

6) Participate in life with detached involvement. Trust that what you want will happen. Even if it doesn’t, you know that a greater good is on its way. Having no attachments to outcomes allows you to turn every situation into an advantage. Your happiness is not dependent on the happening of external circumstances.

7) Rather than waiting to have your desires before feeling happy, develop an attitude of love, gratitude and excitement for what you want, trusting that it’s already yours. This will magnetize your desires in the physical realm. The universe is always providing what you are aligned with.

8) Everyone who enters your life pushes you to a fuller expression of who you are. Be grateful even for those who have hurt you, because they bring awareness to the hidden parts of yourself so that you can heal and grow.

9) Most people carry their old conditionings into adulthood and wonder why life doesn’t work out for them. Understand that you are not the same person anymore. You have the power to let go of the past in order to create a new present. Examine your beliefs and choose those that align with your desires.

10) The ego attempts to keep us safe and small. That’s why we fear so much. However, the most profound experiences unfold when we courageously step outside of our comfort zones. The pain and struggles actually help us evolve to the next level.

11) Surrendering to what is, helps you move forward because you are not resisting reality. When you accept reality, you are able to change it. Always keep growing no matter what happens– this is the key to success.

12) Forgive often, not for the other person but for you, because the act of forgiveness allows you to reclaim your power.

Comfort
I FIND COMFORT AND PEACE IN THE LOVE OF GOD.
Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes I need the comfort of a friend. Other times I play the role of comforter. Whether I am seeking solace or providing it, I know the source of strength and peace comes from within.

I seek comfort and strength in God. Centering my mind and heart in prayer, I let go of any thought of challenge or doubt and simply rest in the stillness. I become aware of infinite love surrounding me and lifting my spirit.

If I want to comfort a friend or loved one, my prayer is for guidance for the right words and actions. I release my concerns to the all-knowing presence of God within.

I am comforted by the love of God, and this love enables me to comfort others.

Breakfast

Perspective … A minister was attending a men’s breakfast. He asked one of the older farmers in attendance to say the prayer that morning. The farmer began,

“Lord, I hate buttermilk.”

The pastor opened one eye and wondered to himself where this was going.

Then the farmer said, “Lord, I hate lard.”

Now the pastor was worried. But the farmer prayed on, “And Lord, you know I don’t care much for raw flour. ”

As the pastor was about to stop everything, the farmer continued,

“But Lord, when you mix ‘em all together and bakes ‘em up, I do love me those fresh biscuits.
