A couple came to our team with a big wish list and an even bigger vision; they wanted a home in Kenosha County that checked every box, even if it needed some serious love to get there.

They found it: right layout, right neighborhood, right bones, and a whole lot of “fixer-upper” potential.

Our help didn’t stop at closing. Hannah’s been sending contractor recommendations, cheering on their renovation progress, and getting so excited over every “before and after” text they send.

Hiring an agent is one thing. Hiring the right one is another.

Felicia shares a story this week that has stuck with the team: a selling client was working with a different agent and had their entire life packed onto a U-Haul, ready for their next chapter; and the accepted offer fell apart when the buyer’s financing didn’t come through. The deal collapsed.

That family came to our team afterward, and their case became a reminder of something the team holds onto with every client: that moment should never happen.

Unexpected things happen in real estate; no one can promise otherwise. But there’s a difference between reacting to surprises and proactively protecting against them.

For our team, that means never looking at an accepted offer as just a number on paper. It means asking the harder questions upfront. Is this buyer actually going to show up at the closing table? So our clients aren’t left blindsided months into the process.
