Summer is officially here, and there’s no shortage of fun things happening around Kennesaw, Marietta, Woodstock, and Acworth!
One of my favorite things about living and working in this area is how connected our communities are — there’s always a concert, festival, market, or local gem worth checking out.
I wanted to share a few upcoming events and a quick snapshot of what’s happening in our real estate market right now.
Hope you find something fun to enjoy this month!

WHAT’S NEW AROUND TOWN
There’s a lot happening around Cobb County right now, and it’s exciting to see continued investment in our local communities.
• Downtown Kennesaw continues expanding its community event lineup and family-friendly programming, which keeps drawing more visitors and helping local businesses thrive.
• Marietta Square stays as popular as ever, with new dining spots, local markets, and city-sponsored events keeping foot traffic strong year-round.
• Acworth continues growing while somehow keeping that “small-town lake community” feel people love.
• Woodstock remains one of the hottest lifestyle destinations in the metro area thanks to its walkability, restaurant scene, and live music atmosphere.
One thing I’m hearing from buyers lately is that they're prioritizing lifestyle just as much as square footage. Walkability, parks, downtown access, and community events matter more than ever.
If you’re looking for a fun Saturday morning, try hitting the farmers market early and then grabbing brunch locally before the crowds show up. Marietta Square and Downtown Woodstock are especially great for this.
LOCAL MARKET OUTLOOK
The local market has definitely shifted into a more balanced pace compared to the frenzy of the last few years.
Here’s what I’m seeing across Cobb and Cherokee Counties:
• Homes are staying on the market a little longer, giving buyers more breathing room.
• Inventory has improved compared to last year, which means buyers finally have more choices.
• Well-priced homes in desirable neighborhoods are still moving quickly. Some REALLY quickly.
• Sellers who prepare their homes properly and market strategically are seeing the strongest results.
My biggest advice right now?
Presentation and pricing matter more than ever. The days of simply putting a home on the market and hoping for multiple offers overnight are becoming less common.
And for buyers, this market gives you opportunities we honestly haven’t seen in a while.
If you’re curious what homes are selling for in your neighborhood, thinking about making a move later this year, or just want to talk real estate trends, I’m always happy to help.
Thanks for staying connected and supporting local businesses and community events. Hope to see you around town this summer!
