'Tis the season for gift giving, but beware! Gifting can cause trouble down the road if you are contemplating long term care benefits.

Maine Center for Elder Law does planning! Let us help you. 207-467-3301.

We’ve all heard that it’s better to give than to receive, but if you think you might someday want to apply for Medicaid long-term care benefits, you need to be careful because giving away money or property can interfere with your eligibility.

WellCare Health Plan coordinates managed care services for those eligible for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Today, WellCare serves approximately 36,000 members in Maine with a mission to help members live better, healthier lives. We embed ourselves in the communities we serve to bring together the right care and the right services when our members need them most.
