This comes as no surprise to me. Katy has been named the top Texas City/Town to retire in by Smart Asset magazine. Though our taxes are a bit high, this is balanced by an incredible quality of life, great access to healthcare, dining, shopping, and entertainment. We enjoy suburban living but are only 30 minutes away from downtown action like the Theater District and Museum District. If you know if someone interested in checking Katy, TX out for their retirement, I am a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and would love to help them find their way home.
