I signed up for swim lessons thinking I was just going to learn how to swim better…

Instead, I learned that a front-zip swimsuit and a large chest are not always in agreement. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Let’s just say… there was a moment.

But honestly? That’s kind of been the theme of this season.

Starting something new has a funny way of humbling you.

Sometimes we assume, “I already know how to do this.” Then life reminds us there’s always another level to learn.

Swimming has taught me that confidence isn’t the same thing as mastery.

You can know enough to stay afloat… and still have so much room to grow.

I’ve realized I don’t want to stop challenging myself just because I’m an adult. There are still rooms to enter, skills to learn, fears to face, and yes… apparently better swimsuits to buy. 😂

Every lesson reminds me that growth isn’t about looking polished. It’s about showing up anyway.

Here’s to new chapters, awkward moments, and refusing to let embarrassment keep us from becoming who we’re capable of being. 🤎

Kansas City has some hidden gems… but THIS one? 🐎👀

If someone showed me horses, equestrian trails, beautiful homes and told me we were still inside Kansas City limits, I’d have questions too. 😂

From Maryland ➡️ Kansas City in UNDER 3 WEEKS. 🏡✈️

When my clients were referred to me by a fellow Compass agent, we had one very important assignment: find the right home FAST. 😅

They were relocating from Maryland for a new job, selling their current home, financing their new purchase AND trying to get settled before that first day of work.

I’m not gonna lie… that timeline was a little scary. 😂 Three weeks is QUICK when there are this many moving pieces involved.

But we got it DONE. 🙌🏾

They sold their home, purchased their new one, made the move to Kansas City and now get to settle into a home with just under 4,000 sq. ft., 5 bedrooms, TWO kitchens and an acre of land. 😮‍💨👏🏾

And even better? They’re now closer to family. ❤️

I’m so happy for them, proud of how they handled such a major transition, and genuinely glad this referral brought them into my life. Now I’m just looking forward to watching them make this beautiful house HOME.

This closing was also such a good reminder of why having the right network matters.
