Amber O'Brien Real Estate, Real Broker, LLC

A dedicated Real Estate Specialist, working for Buyers & Sellers in Missouri & Kansas. You loathe typical real estate agent bios. Don’t worry, I do too. Yes.

They’re like cardboard….stiff, bland and identical to every other bio out there. Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want…real answers to questions you’re probably wondering right now. Will you return my calls, texts and emails? Without question. I realize this is one of the major frustration the general public has with dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quick as possible. I’ve met many Realtors who are jerks. Are you? Depends on who you ask. If you ask certain agents who have stood between my clients and their real estate goals, they’ll probably say, “yes.” A handful of people think I leave golden footprints in the sand. Those are the two extremes, and most people’s opinion falls somewhere in the middle. Here’s what I can tell you: I’m honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. And if you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients and friends is one of my core values. Do you have experience doing exactly what I need? Until you tell me what you need, there is no way of knowing. These are “strong suits” of mine: First Time Home Buying, Foreclosures (HUD included), New Construction, VA & USDA home loans, and Relocations. What kind of work are you really good at? On a personal level, I’m pretty good at cooking (I make a mean lasagna!)...and I’m pretty funny. So, there’s a good chance you’ll be laughing. Who doesn’t love to laugh?? On a professional level though, here are the skill-sets that I’ve developed over the years: Listening, Problem-Solving, Honesty, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Patience, Empathy and Creativity. What do clients think of you? My clients are better suited to answer this for you. Click the link below to see what some of them have said:

🏡✍🏻 CLOSING DAY 🔑❤️

Orry & Bibiana officially closed on their BRAND NEW HOME yesterday, making them first-time homeowners! And after everything it took to get here, this one feels extra special. 🥹❤️

We started back in November 2025, first looking at resale and eventually deciding that building was the way to go. From sliding around on the ice looking at lots and searching for the perfect one, to plans, selections, decisions, waiting, stress and LOTS of patience…these two made it! 🙌

I’m so grateful for their trust throughout the process and incredibly proud of these two. They handled every decision, curveball and waiting period beautifully. ❤️

A huge thank you to Jeffri Rimmer with Summit Homes and Chris Reickard and his team at Guild Mortgage for helping make this such a smooth experience from start to finish. It truly takes a great team to get from “let’s build a house” to handing over the keys! 🔑🏡

Orry & Bibiana, enjoy that BRAND NEW HOME!! I can’t wait to see all the memories you make there! 🤍

📖🏡 Just Sold 📚🏡

Equal parts exciting and bittersweet, and so very well deserved! 🤍

After years of military moves and so much life in between, this family of five has officially closed their 12 year chapter in Kansas City and made their way back home to Michigan.

While they’re excited for what’s ahead, leaving behind a community they love is never easy. Over the last 12 years they built a beautiful life here, formed lasting friendships, and filled an already gorgeous home with so much personality, warmth, and love that it became something truly special. They left their mark on the hearts of so many, mine included. 🫶🏼

Pete and Jen, thank you for your friendship and trust! It was a privilege to help guide you through this journey and make your transition back to Michigan a little smoother. I truly couldn’t be happier for your beautiful family and all that’s ahead!

Michigan is lucky to have you back. Kansas City is lucky to have had you. ❤️
