According to the CFPB, the "ultimate goal is to improve the financial literacy of all consumers in America and we are committed to bringing together partners from across sectors to develop and execute a strategy to achieve this outcome."

The 2022 Financial Literacy Annual Report of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is required under Section 1013 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently ordered TMX Finance LLC (Titlemax parent company) to pay a $10 million penalty for unlawful title loans along with overcharging military families. Read more about the agency's order here: https://bit.ly/3Iuefbv.

On February 23, 2023, the Bureau issued an order against TitleMax parent company TMX Finance LLC, which extends consumer loans that are secured by the title to the borrower’s car.
