FIFTEEN years ago tonight in a quiet neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri 10 month old Lisa Renee Irwin was taken from her home. Years have passed. Holidays, birthdays, and vigils have come and gone. Two big brothers who were at the time little boys have grown into adulthood. There are new family members Lisa hasnt gotten to meet, and some whom are know watching over from above. Although many things have changed, one has not.. two parents still have a huge hole in their hearts that can only be filled with the return of their little Lisa. Lisa and her family deserve answers. Someone has those answers. Lisa needs to come Home! Please remember Lisa and her family in your thoughts and prayers tonight. And please take the time to share her fliers. Your share could bring her home.

"As a prosecutor, he has a duty not to file a case unless he believes beyond a reasonable doubt that he can prove his case," Picerno said. "You may disagree with his opinion on the outcome of how to deal with it. I don't think anyone could say he didn't give a serious thought to the incident."

Sadly, the officers were never charged or disciplined for committing a Class A misdemeanor of Falsifying a Police Report! The KC Municipal prosecutors refused to dismiss the charges or set aside the conviction even AFTER seeing cell phone cam video showing that my client did not “fall”!

This week, in a 5-4 decision, SCOTUS found that Terry Pitchford, a Black man sentenced to death in Mississippi, was denied a fair trial. The trial court failed to properly apply Batson v. Kentucky, a landmark ruling that bars race-based jury strikes. Prosecutors removed 80% of Black potential jurors leaving him to face a jury of 11 white people and just one Black person.

This case was overseen by now-retired prosecutor Doug Evans, who also oversaw the racially biased jury selection in the 2019 overturned conviction of Curtis Flowers.
