Hey, foster/adoptive parents check this out! The Law Office of David Meyer, in coordination with Fostering Hope and Myprojectadoption.com, will be donating a 2007 Toyota Sienna Minivan with just over 100K. (That means the engine is freshly broken in if you own a Toyota!) It runs fantastic, all the bells and whistles, and has seating for seven (7). Yes, you heard it correctly, 7 seats. Some lucky parent(s) will get this vehicle, free of charge to help resolve their family transportation needs. I love this min-van and I have driven it several thousand miles myself on vacations etc. It is a sweet ride! Auto everything, including auto-opening side doors (both) and auto-closing side doors and trunk, all with the remote! Ok, enough about the vehicle. How do I get considered to win this awesome prize? Easy, just send a letter/note via Facebook detailing your situation, your need, and how you came to be a foster/adoptive parent. The more you tell us, the easier it will be for the committee to decide. I do a lot of adoptions in Jasper county, so being a Jasper county foster/adoptive parent may be a factor in the decision. However, probably the biggest issue will be the need, for example, a family of 5 children might do much better over a family with 3 children. However, each situation will be considered. We will be considering all nearby counties in Missouri, Newton, McDonald, Barry, Vernon, Barton, etc. No one factor will decide.
Also, you do not have to be currently fostering or be in the process of adopting. If you have previously adopted and have a need, you will be considered. As a courtesy to my adoption families, remind me if the Law Office of David Meyer completed your adoption and we will make sure that factor is taken into consideration. No fee to enter, you just need to write your adoption/foster story! You may post it to the Law Office of David Meyer page or if you wish you may send it as a private message to the Law Office of David Meyer.
The plan is to give the vehicle away after the 4th of July weekend! God bless and thank you for being the hero your child needed! David MeyerPS I will try to add some pictures when I can.
