NEW PARTNERSHIP: Dollywood has teamed up with “Every Child Tennessee” and the “Tennessee Dept of Children’s Services” to offer free tickets to foster children!

The offer is available to Tennessee families fostering through DCS or one of their providers.

Requirements:

-Child's foster family/caregiver must reside in Tennessee.
-Foster care children from other states are eligible if:
Child is placed with a caregiver who resides in Tennessee, AND
An ICPC (Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children) request has been completed and approved by the TN Dept. of Children’s Services.
-A copy of each child’s placement contract must be submitted through our secure portal.

PLEASE NOTE: Dollywood partners exclusively with the TN Dept. of Children’s Services (TN DCS) and its providers. They are unable to accommodate placements through non-TN DCS affiliated providers.

“Children are increasingly looking at screens, and the reality is that the internet and social media leaves more innocent kids at risk of online exploitation,” Blackburn said in a statement. “Under this new law, big tech companies will now be required to report when children are being trafficked, groomed or enticed by predators.”

The law creates new reporting requirements for big tech companies, including Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram, for crimes against children. Those crimes include s*x trafficking, grooming, or enticement of children for s*xual acts. Previously, federal law only required tech companies to report child s*xual abuse.

The new federal law seeks to modernize and streamline websites and social media companies’ reporting of s*xual exploitation of children online.
