Parisi Law Firm recently welcomed Alex Ward to the Parisi Team!

Alex Ward is a Georgia attorney who provides practical legal guidance to businesses and individuals. Having grown up in a family of small business owners, Alex understands that legal decisions cannot be separated from the everyday realities of running a business. His approach is centered on accessibility, straightforward communication, and helping clients find solutions that make sense both legally and practically.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management while working full time and continued working for several years before attending law school. That real-world experience, combined with his family’s small-business background, gave him a practical understanding of how businesses operate long before he became an attorney. He earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2017.

Alex later served for several years as the full-time general counsel for a transportation company, handling its day-to-day legal needs and human resources matters. That role allowed him to apply his business experience from inside a growing company and reinforced the importance of providing legal advice that is clear, timely, and workable.

Alex founded Award Law in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through his private practice, Alex has advised businesses and individuals on contracts, intellectual property, employment matters, business formation, and other transactional and civil matters.

Alex believes clients should be able to reach their attorney, receive a direct answer, and understand the reasoning behind the advice they are given. He takes the time to learn what matters most to each client so that he can help them make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.

A lifelong Georgian, Alex grew up in Norcross and now lives in Barrow County. He has served as the District 4 County Commissioner in Barrow County since 2022. Outside the office, Alex enjoys whitewater rafting, hiking, and staying involved in his community.
