A joint panel hosted by the International Masters of Gaming Law and the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) brought global regulators and legal experts together in Barcelona to examine the rapid rise of prediction markets.

Moderated by Marc Ellinger, the discussion explored how prediction markets were challenging traditional gambling regulation in the U.S. and what regulators elsewhere could expect as these markets expanded internationally.

Panelists addressed regulatory risks, oversight concerns, and key lessons regulators could learn from the U.S. experience.
