He focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, litigation and trial work. In addition, Tim represents Missouri State Troopers in officer involved shootings and other criminal and administrative matters. In 2010, he was selected as a Missouri "Super Lawyer"and has an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, the highest rat
ing certification for legal ability and ethical standards. In 2006 and 2007, he served as the chair of the Federal Practice Committee for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Tim graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 1995 where he earned his J.D. degree with Order of Coif honors. While at the University of Missouri, he served as the Lead Articles Editor of the University of Missouri Law Review. Before opening CVRS, he was a partner at Cook, Vetter, Doerhoff, and Landwehr in Jefferson City, Missouri from 1998 until 2020. Before that, Tim worked at Armstrong Teasdale in St. Louis where he represented various international corporations and other major healthcare providers and physicians. Tim lives in Wardsville, Missouri with his wife, Sandy. They have two grown children, Hailey and Jake. Hailey presently resides in Chicago, Illinois and works as an ICU nurse, and Jake works at Central Bank in the residential lending department. When Tim isn’t working at the firm, you can usually find him at their lake house in the Lake of the Ozarks where he enjoys fishing, boating, and watching sunsets with his wife.
