New Oklahoma DUI Law – Felony Charges
Starting November 1, 2025, Oklahoma law expands when a DUI can be charged as a felony. Under the new rules, a DUI elevated to felony-level if it involves:
▪️A crash
▪️Driving with a minor in the vehicle
▪️Excessive speeding or reckless driving
▪️Eluding law enforcement
▪️Having a high blood alcohol concentration (0.15% or higher)
▪️Even first-time offenders could face serious jail time/fines
