Beach renourishment and oceanfront erosion control affects coastal properties. If you have a beach property or are considering buying one, this may be something you should consider being aware of.

The biggest conversations I've heard from our community recently as far as housing, have been these: increased property taxes, increased home insurance rates, higher interest rates, affordable housing and Jacksonville's ETJ reduction. These are topics you may want to ask candidates about. Make sure to get informed and vote 😊

Locals, what is the place called that was here before Ed's Pre-owned Cars? From what I could tell it looks like it was a restaurant called Cheeze Burgerz in Paradize, but I could be wrong 😅

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.

Here in Jacksonville, NC, a piece of that history lives right in our community.

The 9/11 Memorial Beam at Lejeune Memorial Gardens is an authentic steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center. Presented by New York City police officers and firefighters to the first U.S. troops deployed after 9/11, it was the first beam to leave New York City and the only one delivered to a Marine base on the back of a New York City fire engine.

The memorial rests between the Beirut Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, serving as a permanent place of remembrance, reflection, and connection to a day when, for so many, the world stopped.

Today, we remember the lives lost, those who ran toward danger to help others, and all those whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
