Congratulations to our own, Kris Nowicki and Team JustUs! Kris and his team won the 2023 North Florida Elite 60 presented by Strike Zone Fishing Jacksonville. Kris and Team Just Us had a 2-fish aggregate of 179.06lbs, almost a 90lb average!!

JBA Young Lawyers chili cook-off February 25, 2023! Jacksonville Bar Young Lawyers Section

🌶️🌶️ REGISTRATION NOW OPEN 🌶️🌶️

The 2023 Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Annual Chili Cook-Off will take place on February 25, 2023 at the Riverside Arts Market!!

This year, the cook off will benefit The Laundry Project, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, that assists low income families with laundry services. With the help of volunteers (aka Hope Dealers), the project partners with laundromats in underserved areas and provide quarters and laundry supplies that a family needs so they can save their own resources for other expenses, like bills, rent, gas, or even buying food for their families. Last year we raised over $20,000 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northeast Florida. This year we are hoping to raise even more! 

Teams will compete in the following eight categories: Spiciest Chili, Meatiest Chili, Most Original, Most Spirited Team, Best Overall, Best Fixins’, Best Cornbread, and Crowd Favorite.
