A federal judge struck down a Trump administration ban on issuing immigrant visas to people from 75 countries, but immigrants continue to be stuck in their countries. Attorneys say the federal government is slow-walking the processing of visas on purpose.

Is your child under 16 years old? When applying for his or her passport, both parents or guardians must appear in person with the child. If one parent or guardian can't be present, here is what he or she needs to do:

✅Submit a notarized form DS-3053.
✅Make sure the notary's signature date matches his or her signature date.
✅Include a photocopy of the front and back of the ID he or she used to notarize the form.
✅Go to travel.state.gov/passport/children to double check all of the requirements!

Temporary Protected Status for Sudan and Ukraine was set to expire on October 19, 2026. However, DHS has not issued an official decision on the status of TPS Sudan and/or Ukraine. Rather, it was shared through media on October 18th and 19th that the DHS spokesperson stated that final decisions on the fate of the TPS designations will "be made at the appropriate time." Employers remain in limbo as to verification of employment for those with TPS from Sudan and Ukraine. Stay tuned for updates here!
