THE FOLDING SHOVEL

It may be simple, but the military entrenching tool has served generations of service members in the field.

Often called an “e-tool,” versions of the compact shovel have been carried by U.S. troops for more than a century, helping dig fighting positions and perform countless other field tasks. The U.S. Army used folding entrenching shovel designs during World War II, while earlier versions were already part of soldiers’ equipment during World War I.

A reminder that sometimes the simplest equipment can make an enormous difference.

Checking GPS directions, adjusting navigation systems, or looking away from traffic can take a driver's attention off the road at a critical moment. Stay alert around commercial vehicles, maintain a safe distance, and watch for unexpected movements.

You may have seen the claim that whispering in church is illegal in Delaware. We looked into this one and couldn’t verify an actual law that says it.

So while whispering through the entire service might earn you a few looks from the pew behind you, we’re not calling the police just yet. 😄

NEVER DOWNPLAY YOUR INJURIES ⚖️
