I spent the morning talking to so many amazing people, making new friends, and finding out what everyone was loving about Oktoberfest. Safe to say, Jacksonville knows how to have a good time. 😂🫶🏼

From birthday celebrations straight into Day 2 of Global Dance Festival 🎂🪩♍️

Getting to spend our birthday doing what Wolfe and I love most together was everything. 🥹 We danced the night away to some of our FAVORITE artists, including Subtronics and kaiwachi, and I managed to get RAIL for my personal favorite, TroyBoi 😭🔥 Literally could not have been happier!

And can we talk about the FIT?! 😮‍💨🔥 Huge shoutout to Trippy Hook for my AMAZING custom Sullivan King hat that officially completed my full SK fit. 🤘🏼🖤 And thank you Wolfe for the perfect birthday present. You know me way too well. 🥹🎁

We came to Colorado all by our lonesome and left with SO many new friends, which will forever be one of my favorite parts of festival life. 🫶🏼 Complete strangers become your rave family for the night, and somehow you end up dancing together like you’ve known each other forever.

Another birthday around the sun spent dancing beside my favorite person, surrounded by incredible music, good energy, and new friends. 🥹🪩❤️ So insanely happy Wolfe and I get to experience this life together.

And nowwww… straight back to work. 😂🏡 I’m on my way back, clients!!

Nothing says festival birthday recovery quite like getting an IV the morning after Day 1 😂💉🪩

I had NEVER had an IV before, so I was a little nervous, but Judy made the entire process so easy, comfortable, and actually FUN. And y’all… I have genuinely never felt better after a night of raving. 😂🙌🏼 We were READY for Day 2.

So Colorado festie friends, I’m putting you on! 📣 If you and your rave crew need someone to come to YOU after a long weekend of dancing, traveling, and festival shenanigans, hit up Judy Shabazz l Montrose, CO. Nurse Judy is THE BEST! 🫶🏼💧

10/10 birthday recovery experience. 😂♍️ Now somebody tell me why I haven’t been doing this after every festival?!

Took my dad and bonus mom to their FIRST EVER FESTIVAL on my dad’s birthday and somehow created two new ravers 😂🪩🫶🏼

First order of business: teaching them the number 1 festival rule… ALWAYS pick a designated meetup spot. 📍

Naturally, Judy proceeded to get lost AND forget where our designated meetup spot was. 💀😂 Classic first festival experience.

But when we randomly found her again, she was absolutely THRIVING and having the time of her life. 😂😭🫶🏼

And somehow the night just kept getting more special. It was ’s birthday too, so during his set the entire festival sang Happy Birthday… on my dad’s actual birthday. 🥹🎂 Then on the Uber ride home, Judy and our driver kept the birthday celebration going by playing every birthday song imaginable for Dad, Wolfe and me. 😂♍️

And because apparently Festival Judy was fully activated by this point, she ended the night teaching our Uber driver how to trade kandi and gave him his first bracelet. 😭😂🫶🏼

Such a special night and one of those memories I know I’ll keep forever. 🥹

Most importantly… someone else in my family FINALLY understands why all of our extra money goes to festivals. 😂🪩🔊

From modeling Luxe Designs Boutique | Montrose, CO, to barbecuing, homemade birthday cheesecake, and eating our way through Montrose… the few days we spent at Shaheed Shabazz and Judy Shabazz’s peaceful home were the PERFECT start to our birthday celebrations! 🎉🎂♍️🏔️

The food in Montrose was SO good, but getting to meet and spend time with all of Dad and Judy’s friends made the trip even sweeter. 🥹❤️ And thanks to the time change, we were up at 7 AM every morning 😂☀️ but thankfully there was always fresh coffee waiting for us to enjoy out on the deck. ☕️

If you’re ever visiting Montrose, do yourself a favor and stay at The Roost on Airbnb. You seriously couldn’t ask for cooler hosts… AND your stay comes with onsite kitties to love on. 🐈‍⬛🥹 What more could you possibly need?!

Such a peaceful little Colorado chapter before heading off to the chaos of festival weekend in Denver. 😂🫶🏼 So blessed to get to make memories like these with the people I love!

FROM HOUSE HUNTING TO HOMEOWNERS! 🏡🔑❤️

Congratulations to my beautiful buyers on officially closing on their beautiful home in Hubert! 🎉

These two were an absolute joy to work with. We toured A LOT of homes, and I mean a lot 😂, but when we walked into this one, it just felt different. After years of moving around, they were ready to finally put down roots here in beautiful Eastern North Carolina, and we found the place that truly felt like home. 🥹🏡

Finding the right house was only half the job. Then it was time to negotiate. 💪

Through some fantastic negotiations, we were able to get multiple inspection repairs completed by the sellers before closing, receive a VA appraisal at contract price with no required repairs, and get them all the way to the closing table with less than $400 cash to close! 🙌🔥

THIS is why having a realtor in your corner who knows how to negotiate and advocate for you matters. The purchase price is only one piece of the deal. The terms, concessions, repairs, inspections, financing, and strategy behind the scenes can make a huge difference in what homeownership actually costs you.
