Meet Victor Ivy! 👋
Vic has protected victims' rights for over 30 years in State and Federal courts. In 1994, he became an Assistant United States Attorney in Memphis, where he primarily handled jury trials involving drugs, guns, and violent crimes. In 1998, he became a partner with the Jackson, TN law firm of Hardee, Martin, Jaynes and Ivy. There, he concentrated his practice in the areas of criminal law and personal injury jury trials.
In 2001, Vic returned to the United States Attorney’s Office in Jackson, where he was the Chief Prosecutor of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF). After obtaining his Top Secret-Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance, Vic was promoted to Chief of the Jackson, TN United States Attorney’s Office. He held the position of top Federal Prosecutor in Jackson until his retirement in 2023 after 34 years of Federal service. He has received awards from the FBI, DEA, IRS, ATF, Secret Service, Postal Service, Social Security Administration, TBI, Jackson Police Department, and many other law enforcement agencies.
Vic lives in Jackson with his wife Linda, who is an architect. They have two children: Sam - his law partner - and Sara, a chemical engineer working in Memphis. They also have two grandchildren whom they adore.
