They picked a great one to ensure the compliance of local jail facilities across the state. Law enforcement administrators and families of those incarcerated should all be pleased with this appointment. He’s fair and knows his stuff, taught me a lot as a young jailer.

I had a very moving request yesterday in Paris General Sessions Court. A man walked up to me and handed me his POW medal from Vietnam. Told me that he knew I was a combat veteran and would understand the meaning. He asked if I would keep his medal throughout the court process and asked me to protect his son (my client). I told him it was an honor and took the medal. Thanks to an assistant DA with a plethora of common sense and experience we were able to get his son’s charges dismissed. We even had a jovial dialogue going with the adverse parties afterwards. I’m very humbled and thankful for this experience. Marcus Lipham
