The Mississippi Blue Book, also known as the Official & Statistical Register, is now available. It is a comprehensive publication produced by the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office every four years following a general election. It provides a detailed overview of the state, including biographies of elected officials, election results, and contact information for various government offices.

A digital version of the 2024-2028 Blue Book is currently available on the Secretary of State's website or you can pick up a printed copy at 401 Mississippi Street.

As someone who isn't a teacher, I hold educators in high esteem. My educational journey, spanning from Bethlehem Center to Alcorn and JSU, has been enriched by outstanding teachers and professors.

Nevertheless, I'd like to draw attention to the often-overlooked early child care teachers, who make a profound impact on children's lives. I was thrilled to show my appreciation by providing treats to the teachers at LSM in Midtown.

Attention Business Owners: The federal government now mandates that all business owners file the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). While some states are seeking an injunction against this requirement, it is advisable to proceed with filing to avoid penalties, which can exceed $500 per day.
