📣 As Everett Dorey LLP continues to expand, we are excited to welcome Christopher Steinke to our team. Christopher is an attorney at Everett Dorey, specializing in a broad range of civil litigation, including catastrophic injury, intellectual property, environmental law, complex litigation, and toxic torts, where he leverages his extensive scientific background to navigate technically demanding legal disputes.
Christopher earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While at UCI Law, he demonstrated leadership in the legal community as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, having previously served as the organization's Finance Chair and Patent Chair. Committed to public service, Christopher dedicated significant time to pro bono initiatives, including the UCI Consumer Law Clinic, the UCI Expungement Clinic, the ACS California Notice Watchdog, and the Health Consumer Action Center.
His professional foundation includes valuable experience gained during summer clerkships and as an associate, where he developed a top proficiency in drafting pleadings and motions for summary judgment. He is highly skilled in conducting legal research to support complex litigation strategies and navigating local and federal court rules to ensure rigorous compliance for his clients.
In addition to his legal credentials, Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. A published scholar, he has authored several scientific articles in journals such as eLife and Cell Reports, focusing on neuron regeneration and molecular signaling. This unique intersection of high-level scientific research and legal advocacy allows Christopher to provide sophisticated representation in cases involving intricate medical and environmental evidence.
