It’s crazy what happens when you lock in on something.

Nothing else matters. Not the dead ends. Not the no’s. Not the hurdles. You find a way through all of it.

This couple is coming home.

Anyone who’s left California knows — getting back in is brutal. But there’s a reason we all pay the sunshine tax.

There’s no place like it.

We negotiated hard on this one. And we came out on top! 💪🏻

Let’s go!

Welp. We did it. 🏡

Sold this home on the “potential” of being a 4-bedroom… when in reality, it was a true 3.

There were 2 builder options to convert it into a 5-bedroom — but on paper and in person, it was 3 bedrooms in a 2,700 sq ft home. A little drywall, a door frame, and a closet would’ve done the trick. But that’s not what we were working with.

The challenge? Selling 2,700 sq ft with only 3 bedrooms in Irvine is no easy feat. It takes a lot of explaining. A lot of “picture this.” A lot of vision.

The result?

The 4th highest 3-bedroom sale in Irvine in 2026.

Let’s goooooooo 🔥

Building a team sounded like the natural next step.

Until it wasn’t.

Here’s the thing nobody tells you — building a team isn’t for everyone. If you think it’s the next evolution to leveling up your career, it could be. And it could not be. Both are true. And you won’t really know which one applies to you until you’re already in it.

I thought I was ready. I had the production, I had the vision, I had the work ethic. What I didn’t have was the understanding that none of that translates the way you think it will. Production doesn’t make you a leader. Vision doesn’t build culture. And your work ethic? That’s yours. You can’t transfer it to someone else no matter how badly you want to.

I’m not writing this to complain or to talk anyone out of it. I’m writing it because I made the wrong calls — and the people who paid for those wrong calls weren’t just me. It was the people who trusted me to lead them.

And I want to be clear — I don’t regret trying. Building a team is the right move for some people. It just ended up not being the right move for me. But what an amazing learning experience. It taught me more about myself than almost anything else in my career. Who I was. Who I wasn’t. What I’m actually built for, and what I was forcing because I thought it was supposed to be next.

If you’re a real estate agent thinking about building a team because it feels like the obvious next chapter, I want you to read this before you do what I did. Not to scare you off. To make sure you’re going in with your eyes open instead of your ego.

Be honest with yourself.

If you’ve built a team, you already know what I’m talking about. If you’re about to build one, sit with this for a minute. And come back to it in 6 months. You’ll read it differently then.

Less than a week ago, 125 Mongoose officially hit the market.

Like every listing, the goal wasn't just to put a sign in the yard and hope for the best. The goal was to create a launch that would capture attention from the right buyers from day one.

We spent time preparing the home, highlighting its upgrades, creating a marketing plan, and making sure every detail was ready before opening the doors.

Then came the first weekend.

Buyers walked through the home, explored the Beacon Park neighborhood, and immediately connected with everything it had to offer—from the flexible floor plan and modern finishes to the lifestyle that makes Great Park one of Irvine's most sought-after communities.

The momentum built quickly.

Showing requests continued to come in, conversations turned serious, and before the first week was over, we secured a contract.

One weekend of open houses.
Less than a week on the market.
Now under contract.

A huge thank you to our sellers for trusting us throughout the process and to everyone who came through the open houses.

If you've been wondering whether now is the right time to make a move, stories like this are a reminder that buyers are still actively looking for the right home.

Thinking about selling? I'd be happy to help you create a strategy that gets results.

Big things are happening at Great Park. 🚧➡️🎤🌳

The City of Irvine has committed approximately $1.1 billion to complete Great Park, bringing a permanent 10,000-seat amphitheater, The Canopy shopping and dining district, major new amenities, and a World Cup summer experience to the area.

But what does all of this mean for homeowners, buyers, and property values in Great Park and Portola Springs?

I break down what these developments could mean for the local housing market, why location matters more than ever, and how these investments may impact future demand in some of Irvine's most sought-after communities.
