Downtown Los Angeles’ infamous “graffiti towers” may finally be getting a second act.
A $470 million bid has surfaced for the long-stalled Oceanwide Plaza complex, the unfinished three-tower development that has loomed over Crypto.com Arena for years. Once envisioned as a luxury mixed-use destination, the project became a symbol of halted construction, bankruptcy battles, and massive graffiti that turned the towers into viral vertical murals.
Now, a new development partnership is stepping forward with plans to secure the site, remove the graffiti, and revive the project. If approved in bankruptcy court, the deal could reshape one of Downtown LA’s most visible unfinished landmarks.
