It’s time to check your FIT (federal tax withholding)
If your gross pay is :
$35,000 or less with at 1 or more dependent under 18 years or 24 years if a student , your taxes should be at least 10% or more to get a refund.
$36,000-$50,000 same dependent information your FIT should be at least 20-25% or more to possibly get a refund.
$50,000 and up your FIT should be a minimum of 25% or more.
Just a reminder that if you received the advanced child tax credit, this may affect your refund.
*these are just just estimated to help you figure out what to expect.
