The Sanders Group Realty Is “On Point” at Delta Open The House Summit

The Sanders Group Realty was proud to be “On Point” at the recent Delta Open The House Summit, hosted by the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., under the leadership of President Tavonna Harris Askew, Esq. The national initiative focuses on empowering communities through homeownership education, financial knowledge, access to resources, and pathways toward building generational wealth.
With President Askew’s leadership and support, Carolyn Sanders, Broker/Owner of The Sanders Group Realty; Errical Jones, Associate Broker with The Sanders Group Realty; and Karen Kelly, Team Leader with Compass Real Estate, served as Co-Chairs of the Summit. Although the three women represent different real estate brokerage affiliations, they share a powerful connection as members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Together, Sanders, Jones, and Kelly combined their professional expertise, community relationships, and shared commitment to service to create an informative experience centered on the complete homeownership journey: getting into a home, staying in a home, and building wealth through homeownership.
The Sanders Group Realty was also proud to participate as a community vendor, providing attendees with real estate information, resources, and access to professionals who understand that successful homeownership extends far beyond receiving the keys.
The event was made even more special for The Sanders Group through the support of Melanie Smith of Stockton Mortgage, one of the trusted mortgage professionals who works alongside our team. Stockton Mortgage served as one of the Title Sponsors of the Summit and sponsored lunch for attendees, demonstrating its commitment not only to homeownership but also to investing in the communities and families we collectively serve.
The collaboration reflected what The Sanders Group believes real estate should be about. Our responsibility does not end at the closing table. It includes educating families, connecting them with trusted resources, helping homeowners protect their investments, and demonstrating how real estate can become a foundation for financial stability, equity, and generational wealth.
