Another Indiana officer is accused of using Flock to track someone in their personal life, allegedly searching for his ex-girlfriend’s car more than 2,000 times.

At some point, we have to stop treating these as isolated incidents. Police have access to a massive surveillance network that can show where people are going, and the guardrails clearly aren’t keeping up.

🏳️‍🌈 PrideFest is going back where it belongs: the heart of Loogootee.

After years of legal battles, a federal court struck down the city's unconstitutional event restrictions and ordered PrideFest back to Public Square. That means PrideFest 2026 is officially on for Sept. 5. 🎉

This is a win for PrideFest, free speech, and the statewide LGBTQ+ community.

Indiana has scheduled another ex*****on.

Jeffrey Weisheit is set to be executed on November 5, despite his attorneys raising serious concerns about whether evidence of his severe brain damage and mental illness has ever been fully considered.

If carried out, this will be Indiana’s fourth ex*****on in less than two years.

Indiana’s death penalty system has a long record of overturned sentences, wrongful convictions, racial disparities, and an enormous cost.

None of that has changed; the state has even recently tried to expand its ex*****on methods to include barbaric methods such as firing squads and nitrogen hypoxia, a method that kills by oxygen deprivation. A system this flawed should not have the power to impose capital punishment, period.

Indiana should abolish the death penalty.

Hoosiers around the state are gathering in common cause this weekend, calling out ICE detention at the Miami Correctional Facility. Conditions at the facility are beyond concerning, in many cases including abuse and medical neglect.

Two ICE detainees have died in the facility this year.

It's important to note that the vast majority of ICE detainees have never been convicted of a crime. Even if they had, these conditions are inhumane and unconstitutional.

This Weekend of Public Witness includes rallies, educational events and prayer vigils. Events continue around the state through Sunday.

📢 Hoosiers, you have less than 40 days to register to vote or update your registration before Indiana's October 5 deadline for the November election!

You can register to vote in Indiana if you:

• Are a U.S. citizen
• Will be at least 18 by Election Day
• Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election
• Are not currently incarcerated after a criminal conviction

Yes, you can vote if you:

• Have been previously incarcerated and are no longer in prison
• Are on probation, parole, home detention, or work release
• Are transgender
• Are a college student
• Have a disability
• Are a recently naturalized U.S. citizen
• Are unhoused

Already registered? Check your registration anyway, especially if you've moved, changed your name, been previously incarcerated, or haven't voted in a while.

Make sure your registration is current before October 5 at IndianaVoters.in.gov.

Indiana’s prisons are already crowded, and the state is cutting programs that help keep people out of them.

In addition, Public Question 1 on the November ballot would change Indiana’s Constitution in a way that could make it easier to keep people in jail before they’ve been convicted of a crime.

Today, on Women’s Equality Day, we mark 106 years since the 19th Amendment was certified. While it prohibited denying the right to vote on the basis of s*x, it did not make access to the ballot equal for all women.

We mark this history at a time when voting rights and fair representation are under attack, women’s rights continue to be rolled back, and more than a century after it was first introduced, the Equal Rights Amendment still has not been recognized as part of the Constitution.

The rights won by generations before us were never inevitable, and neither is the progress yet to come. We must keep fighting for a democracy and country where equality is real for everyone. As activist, suffragette, writer, and civil rights champion Ida B. Wells said, "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty." We will remain vigilant.

Hoosiers, your voices are being heard.

On Tuesday, the Fort Wayne City Council unanimously agreed not to renew the city’s contract with Flock Safety, one of the most well-known automatic license plate reader companies.

Fort Wayne is not alone in failing to renew their contract. Other communities, such as Bloomington, have done the same. It's clear that Hoosiers’ concerns over this invasive technology are beginning to resonate with local and state leaders.

Mass surveillance has no place in Indiana. Keep telling your representatives to Get the Flock Out.

This weekend, Hoosiers across the state are coming together to demand an end to ICE detention at the Miami Correctional Facility.

From Aug. 28-30, Indivisible Central Indiana and partners are organizing rallies, prayer vigils, educational events, and other actions in communities across Indiana.

Politicians on the both sides of the aisle have concerns about automatic license plate readers when it comes to civil liberties and privacy. It's clear their constituents do as well.

Recently, there have been multiple documented instances of these cameras being misused for nefarious purposes. Even when used as intended, these devices silently track citizens' daily activities on the road, the vast majority of whom are never suspected of a crime.

Communities across the state are making their voices heard.

The City of Bloomington recently announced they would not be renewing their contract with Flock. A Lawrence County petition looking to ban the devices has gained more than 600 signatures. Now, some lawmakers seem like they're looking to address their these concerns.
