The All-Ohio themed 2026 Fresh Air Camp held at Camp Cheerful in Strongsville, Ohio is in the books! Another fantastic week for the campers, with quite a few new ones joining in the fun this year.

Fresh Air Camp is a 6-day, overnight camp for children with tracheostomies or respiratory technology needs. Fresh Air Camp was founded and continues to be staffed by healthcare professionals from Cleveland and Akron area hospitals. Big shout out to the camp directors, staff and the many volunteers that make this dream event possible for the kids!

• Always wear a helmet. No exception.
• Follow the rules of the road. Cyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as drivers, including stopping at red lights and stop signs.
• Be visible. Wear bright or reflective clothing, especially at dawn, dusk, or after dark, and use front and rear lights on your bike.
• Watch for car doors. "Dooring" is one of the most common causes of cyclist injuries, so always ride a safe distance from parked cars
• Stay off your phone or pull over in a safe spot to check messages. No exception.
• Make eye contact with drivers. Never assume a driver sees you before crossing an intersection or entering traffic.
