Time to clean out that old wrapping paper and turn it into great services and programs for your local school!

PTO is collecting gift wrapping paper, tissue, bags, bows, ribbons, etc. for a gift wrapping station at the Idyllwild Tree Lighting Ceremony.

We’re all geared up for Red Ribbon Week at Idyllwild School TK-8! ❤️
Our halls are bursting with creativity as students decorate their doors with this year’s theme —
🧩 “Life is a Puzzle… Solve It Drug-Free!” 🧩

We can’t wait to celebrate a week full of spirit, kindness, and positive choices. 🌟

They’re hosting an opportunity drawing to help fund Outdoor Education field trips for Idyllwild Middle School students.
We love seeing our community come together to support our kids’ learning beyond the classroom! 💚

We are so glad to have brought Jessie Funk’s assembly to Idyllwild School TK-8! 💛 Teaching our students that kindness is something to celebrate and honor is a gift they’ll carry forever.
Thank you, Jessie & Kindest Kid in America , for reminding us how powerful empathy, choice, and compassion can be — and a heartfelt thank you to the Idyllwild Community Fund for helping us make this experience possible. 🙌

🌟 What an unforgettable day at Idyllwild School TK-8!

On Friday, our PTO had the privilege of hosting Jessie Funk for two inspiring assemblies on Inspiring Measurable Acts of Kindness and Choices: take your life from average to extraordinary. Jessie shared her powerful voice, heartfelt stories, and important lessons — reminding us that “hurt people, hurt people” and how we can all break the hate cycle with kindness and choice. 💛

During the TK-5 assembly, we had a very special surprise… one of our very own students was announced as “The Kindest Kid in America” from California! 🏆💐 Her story of kindness was so impactful, it’s even been written into a book: Kindest Kid in America: Velky's Kind Sunshine. 📖✨

A huge thank you to the Idyllwild Community Fund for the generous grant that made this incredible experience possible for our students. 🙌

We are so proud of our students and grateful to Jessie Funk and Kindest Kid in America for bringing such an incredible message to our school. 💫

On Wednesday, we welcomed Eddie Cortés to speak with our students to kick off our first assembly of the year. It was amazing to watch him connect with our students and staff. Being able to bring someone that is able to speak to our TK-2, 3-5, and 6-8 groups is something that can be difficult but Eddie knocked it of the park. We hope that students will go from thinking that something is impossible and will instead say "I'm possible!"

The below blurb from his website helped us to jump into booking him and he did not disappoint:
"Eddie will help students realize that their potential (what they can be) is far greater than their limitations (what they can’t do)! Your students will be empowered to do hard things and chase their dreams because they are “braver than they believe, stronger than they seem, and smarter than they think.”
