Spot the findings.
One furniture showroom, walked in a few minutes.
1: a bed display across the path to a marked emergency exit, and a dresser in front of the extinguisher under its own sign.
2: an extinguisher on a column, boxed in by sofas.
NFPA 101 wants egress kept clear. NFPA 10 wants extinguishers reachable. The sign marks the spot. It doesn't keep the spot open.
Furniture floors move. The exits and extinguishers don't. Every reset is a chance to close in on something that has to stay clear.
Mark keep-clear zones on the floor, and walk them every time a display moves.
