Your voice is needed! The Douglas County Planning Commission is considering practical questions of health and safety related to wind energy development. The Planning Commission has provided rigorous protections of what we all value about Douglas County. The conditions for use of county land by renewable energy are the highest bar for such development in the state. But opponents of wind energy are demanding requirements that have absolutely no relation to potential turbine impacts on public health and safety. There is no credible scientific evidence of threats to human health from the normal operation of wind energy production. But the health and safety of all residents in the county are directly threatened by climate disruption. Make a video to LET THE COMMISSION KNOW YOU WANT CLEAN ENERGY SOLUTIONS NOT JUNK SCIENCE.
