It’s been a while since I posted here at Mansfield & Mansfield, P.C.'s page, so I wanted to share this update with everyone:

Bruce L. Mansfield, my father, retired last year in March of 2024.

Dad is enjoying the extra free time and taking life at a more leisurely pace after 44 busy years of trial and litigation deadlines. We're all glad for him and agree he's earned the time off. Please call us if you want to speak to Dad or me about the firm or to catch up. Dad and I are happy to meet with friends and colleagues from the past decades.

It was a blessing and honor to practice law with my father for eleven years, and I intend to make him proud for the next 33 years if I practice as long as he has!

We will be closed December 24th in observance of Christmas, and on December 31st in observance of New Year's Day. We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Today, February 17, 2021, we are closed due to the bad weather. You can leave a message on our phone system only if the power is on. You may email the office but the support staff will not be in to check them today. All federal and state courts are closed today in Tarrant County. We were closed yesterday due to a lack of power. We will be monitoring to see if the situation improves for tomorrow and if the courts are closed as well.

To celebrate the Christmas and New Year's holidays, we will be closed December 24, 25, will close at 4:00 p.m. on December 31, and will be closed January 1, 2021.

Because we are practicing proper social distancing while remaining an essential business with court deadlines still looming in many cases, we needed to change our hours. We will currently close for lunch so our staff at the office do not have to worry about answering phones for a short time and can take a break as they should be able to. Please leave a voice mail during the lunch hour and someone will call you back afterward. Thank you for understanding.

We are open for phone calls and to speak to current and potential clients. As always, appointments are appreciated and we do not take walk-ins. If possible, see whether documents you want to bring in or payments you wish to make can be done over email, the phone, or through fax. Call our office for any questions concerning our availability.

Many of the courts have stopped or rescheduled hearings through April 1st at a minimum. If this affects a hearing or matter in your case, please call to check on it.

We are praying everyone stays safe and healthy and for the quick recovery of any who are affected by COVID-19 either health-wise or economically.
