Ok I'll start again for everyone. Clifford and I have a chance to be considered for a $100,000 grant for his business. Wow - Thursdays take a lot out of me - today I had seven juvenile cases. Just seems like I run to keep up but I like what I am doing and hopefully I get more efficient.

OK - I am going to put this out there and ask for your help. I have a very loving, financially stable couple that desperately wants to raise a child but because it is a same s*x marriage natural childbirth is not an option. They do not care about race or gender but they are honest enough to admit they do not think they would do well with a child with special needs. If you or someone you know is aware of a child that is newborn to approx three years of age that would benefit from a very stable, loving, supportive home - please provide me the contact information. Well folks we made it through the first day of hearings in Carroll County and it wasn't too bad. As a matter of fact, I was quite comfortable in my new role. I think I have found a good place for me to be in my career!

Obviously I have been neglecting this page and for that I apologize. Things have been a little hectic with Clifford's business taking off the way it has, Anthony coming back home and all the other things in my life. But I am excited to announce that the firm will be changing a little. I am going to try to focus and specialize primarily in the field of family law. It looks like I am going to contract to be parent counsel in Carroll County but I am keeping my office open in Madison County for private practice. This is very exciting for me - I cannot wait to see what the future holds in this direction.

The office will be closed today and tomorrow. Just left the doctor's office - struggling with major sinus infection. Headed back to bed.

It has been a few days since my last post - I have been working on family law cases, some contract and now an estate. Life is good here in our community!

Trial last week went well, now on to court again this week and much much more. So glad to be busy!
