It was announced last week that CCJS Attorney Kenny Cole will be inducted into the Morgan County Sports Hall of Fame on June 20, 2026.

Though we now know Kenny for being a strong advocate in the court room, before law school Kenny was an SEC football player at Vanderbilt University.

Public Service Announcement about Social Security Disability Benefits

CCJS attorney Brent Jordan dedicates much of his legal practice to SSDI claims — so when the Administration proposed a major rule change, he paid close attention.

The proposal would significantly impact older Americans who are applying for, or currently receiving, disability benefits. Under this change, decision-makers would no longer be allowed to consider age as a vocational factor when determining eligibility.

In this video, Brent explains that the Social Security Administration currently considers age because, as we get older, our ability to learn new skills naturally decreases.

To help prevent this rule from moving forward, Brent urges everyone to contact their representatives and tell them: Do NOT remove age as a consideration in Social Security Disability claims.
