Earlier this year, I completed the Parents Leadership Initiative, a ten-week program whose goal is to bring together members of the community to learn about issues affecting our children and our community at large. The modules in the program were insightful, inspiring and often moving. An added bonus was getting to know members of many corners of our diverse community and what each of them are doing to improve the lives of all. Many thanks to program director Denise Ham for a memorable experience! I highly recommend the Parent Leadership Initiative program!
