This week reminded me why we as defense attorneys do what we do. My client James, a young 18 year old man, who graduated with honors from a Local Bronx High School in June 2026, was getting ready to go to college in August, and taking some time off before school.
But on June 26, 2026 his life suddenly changed. He was arrested for R**e in the First Degree, and his family reached out to me immediately.
Upon meeting James it was evident that he was falsely accused, and not guilty of anything. Still, he was shockingly facing up to several years in prison for a crime that he did not commit, and the goal was to get this young man to college, so he could begin the successful life ahead of him.
We worked and fought for his rights and his future, and the case was dismissed this week, with his reputation restored.
Now we party. G-d is good. All the time.
