I’m reviewing and analyzing a commercial lease for a Realtor and her client. I’ve already spotted multiple red flags, including that it’s listed as a gross lease in title of the document but has provisions added that look like a triple net lease. And there are also inconsistencies in the addendum they added which are ambiguous and causing confusion the way they are written.
Unlike CAR forms that can’t be customized, some of these commercial leases can have clauses added or removed which creates serious inconsistencies and conflicts.
