This is exactly why I keep telling buyers to stop scrolling for perfection.

Because sometimes the BEST houses are the ones everyone else overlooks.

This house isn’t trendy enough for the Pinterest crowd right now and honestly? That’s the opportunity.

Everyone wants:

✨ fully updated
✨ white oak floors
✨ designer lighting
✨ move-in ready perfection

But they forget those buyers are also paying a premium for someone else’s renovations, style choices, and HGTV addiction.

Meanwhile this house has:

✔ 1.1 acres
✔ massive mature trees
✔ 3 car garage - oversized
✔ great square footage
✔ equity potential
✔ room to improve and actually make it YOURS

And those things are way harder to create later.
Could the basement layout be better? Sure.
Would I update some finishes? Absolutely.

But I can immediately see what this house COULD become… and honestly I think whoever buys it is going to look very smart in a few years.

Some buyers see outdated.

I see opportunity. 👀

✨ HGTV moments

Meanwhile agents are out here hearing:

• “just avoid the aggressive cat”
• “the basement flooding has mostly dried”
• “the sellers want to keep the bathroom vanity”
• “the buyers can share the house with the sellers until closing”

Like EXCUSE ME???

And before anyone asks… yes.
These are all real.
Real conversations.
Real transactions.

Real licensed adults saying these things with confidence.

This is why having a good Realtor actually matters. Because half this job is knowing when something is normal… and when something is absolutely unhinged.
