Hoping the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals agrees with the Judge that our client is actually innocent.

Former HPD officer Gerald Goines was back in court Thursday as attorneys argued that the murder indictment against him should be quashed, and if not, they said they would like a change of venue.

All former Houston Police Department Officer Goines cases need to be dismissed. It doesn’t matter how old the case might be, misconduct cannot be tolerated. I look forward to the road ahead of us as Stanley Schneider and I fight to have our client declared innocent. Thank you ABC13 for covering our client’s case.

ELECTION DAY- Go Vote!!
I'm going to post a few election day law posts to help out.
TIP 1) It is illegal for your boss to prevent you from voting today. Texas Election Code 276.004 makes it a crime if a person of authority refuses to permit the other person to be absent from work on election day for the purposes of attending the polls to vote.
