Congratulations to Rob Ammons on being named the Gerry Spence Method's 2026 Faculty Trial Warrior of the Year.
Within the last year, Rob has secured a ten-figure verdict, an eight-figure verdict, and a seven-figure verdict. He was also part of a trial team representing a woman facing 99 years in prison on a first-degree murder charge, who received a sentence of just six years.
Those results didn't happen by accident.
Rob is a student of the law. He follows court decisions, reads books on the litigation process, keeps up with industry articles, and puts new trial strategies to work in the courtroom. That relentless pursuit of knowledge is what led him to the Gerry Spence Method years ago.
The Gerry Spence Method is built around psychodrama techniques that help a lawyer live the client’s experience rather than describe it from the outside. It is not a courtroom performance or a trial tactic. It is a theory grounded in work that happens long before trial, requiring the lawyer to take the time to know a client, understand what they have lost, and appreciate how their life has changed.
Rob knows every client by name. He knows their story. He is personally involved in every case and every major strategic decision. He never delays a client’s right to justice by willingly asking for a continuance. He is ready for trial. Rob is committed to excellence.
That commitment to excellence is what led to a $49 million verdict for a young mother and daughter who lost their husband and father. That trial result occurred within 15 months of the suit being filed. That commitment is what led to a $1.6 billion verdict for two families who lost their husbands and fathers in a catastrophic explosion. That commitment is what helped return a young woman to her family instead of spending the rest of her life in prison. And year after year, that commitment leads to dozens of seven- and eight-figure verdicts and settlements.
Congratulations, Rob, on a well-earned recognition.
"The Spence Method's power of storytelling has transformed my trial practice."
— Rob Ammons
For more than three decades, Rob Ammons has dedicated his career to standing up for consumers against some of the world's largest corporations. As the founder of The Ammons Law Firm, he has recovered more than $1 billion for his clients, helped drive the recall of more than 100 million defective tires and automobiles, and has served as lead counsel in more than 430 cases resulting in verdicts or settlements exceeding $1 million.
Yet for Rob, remarkable results begin long before the courtroom.
They begin with story.
After years of trying complex product liability and catastrophic injury cases, Rob discovered that the Spence Method transformed the way he connects with juries—not through techniques, but through authentic storytelling rooted in truth, humanity, and trust. Today, he proudly gives back as a faculty member, helping the next generation of trial lawyers discover that same transformation.
Join Rob and the Gerry Spence Method faculty in 2027.
