We are thrilled to announce that LPM Partner Tom Pirtle secured a $40,000,000 jury verdict in Divelbliss v. Becton Dickinson, et al., the second bellwether case in MDL No. 3081, In re: Bard Implanted Port Catheter Products Liability Litigation.

The Phoenix, Arizona jury reached a unanimous verdict, finding Becton Dickinson liable for the negligent design of its implantable port catheter and for failing to warn Ms. Divelbliss’ physician of risks associated with the product.
