I need to make clear that, in addition to
Criminal Defense, we also are representing those facing vehicular seizure. Those are civil cases (all about money) and subject to different rules of procedure and pace of the process! = MUCH FASTER and limited than Criminal cases.b at first those (30’day deadline to get written notice of Seizure filed with the Court and with the arrestee or owner if the paperwork reflects a difference.
But then, the onus shifts to US, the claimant who seeks to defeat the seizure, by poking holes in the procedure they followed and paperwork they have filed.

This is a major change for us. You needed to know!

I want everybody who is street racing now, to say whether they would use a dragstrip that was actually set up for “roll-racing”. Instead of public roads.

I think that when the County and constituent
Municipal Police Organizations that make up the “task force” total up what they expend for overtime and the cost of dedicated equipment that cannot be utilized for general traffic and patrol duties, they will see the $10-$15MM land, improvements and operating expenses expenditure as money well spent. It would make a noticeable reduction in the case loads at the JPC and 1201 Franklin, as well.
What do you say, is racing where you get to keep your car and your license, come what may, worth shedding the excitement of getting over on the man, of being rebels?

While I can now see the light at the end of
the tunnel that is the traffic ticket rat race, Inam still down at “The County” the Misdemeanor Criminal Courts at Law and in the Felony Courts most every day helping people defend accusations against them. I still give 100%. I still go to Work! They want to hurt you, I want
To save you. Simple as that.

I am still practicing criminal law.

Recently, I made the Unofficial list of attorneys of note in the Misdemeanor Courts of Harris Co. (Houston) compiled by one or more assistant District Attomeys. I am in the worst to deal with category. I wear that evaluation as a badge of
Honor. I am not there to trade cat pictures and make nice. I am there to attack their case, their
Witnesses, their legal reasoning, and analysis of the facts of the case. To defeat their attempt to take away your freedom, to harm your reputation, to empty your wallet, impact your employability, and to vindicate your rights and simply, to do my darndest to WIN for you.

Time to close down the intake of New Class C (traffic ticket) Cases. It is just logistically impossible to cover those courts as well as the County Criminal and Felony courts.

For Some inexplicable reason, almost all of the Municipal, and ALL of the justice of the peace
Courts insist on qholding court during the same eight hours of the same five days. The very same time frame that all of the 19 (w/ERDs) County Crim Courts at Law and all 30 (with RIC and Star Courts) Felony courts meet.

I will finish up those cases that I have taken in, but will accept no more. After 01 JUN 2025. When I was a spry young 50 year old 22 years ago, I could hang. But the serious criminal cases have gotten far More numerous, so it makes professional, economic, and logistical sense to pull in my horns, a little.
