Three new civil district courts are now open in Harris County.

The Harris County District Courts welcome Judges Jacqueline Franklin, Michael Landrum, and Shawn Nicole Thierry to the 513th, 514th, and 515th District Courts. The new courts mark the first phase of a five-court expansion designed to address growing civil caseloads and wait times.

The 516th and 517th District Courts are scheduled to open Oct. 1.

If anyone, I don't care who you are, potential client, current client, past client, opposing party, opposing counsel, I absolutely do not care who you are, sends me AI generated garbage, I will absolutely show you the door.

1. Your cute, little AI generated searches may be discoverable in litigation;

2. Courts are heavily disapproving of AI in the legal system;

3. More often times than not, AI is incorrect. I've personally used AI in the medical context and both times they were wrong, the doctors set me straight; the legal system is no different; and

4. Your AI generated questions are not how things work in reality of the legal world, your AI thereby being a turnoff and completely annoying.

If you know me, I'm always just going to tell you like is, reality. So that is that. Period. Full stop.
